Ingrid M. Patin is an attorney with Baker Law Offices, and practices in civil litigation, with an emphasis in Personal Injury, focusing on motor vehicle accidents, brain injuries and wrongful death, as well as Criminal Defense.
As an attorney with Baker Law Offices, Ingrid has used her knowledge and experience in the defense realm to ensure that every client obtains the maximum amount for their case through fierce negotiation techniques and personal attention to each case. Ingrid also offers each client courtroom experience, as she has conducted a bench trial and represented numerous clients in criminal court. Ingrid is passionate about her work and is dedicated to her clients.
Prior to joining Baker Law Offices, Ingrid represented multi-million dollar insurance companies as an Associate with Alverson, Taylor, Mortensen & Sanders. During her two years with Alverson Taylor, Ingrid worked in civil defense litigation with a focus in medical malpractice defense and personal injury defense.
As a Louisiana native, Ingrid graduated in 2003 from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Biology. While at LSU, she was a Regent’s Scholar, volunteered for the LSU football department and participated in numerous philanthropic activities, including St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Ingrid received her Juris Doctorate in 2008 from California Western School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board Trial Team and received the Interschool Competition Award for her participation in several regional and national Trial Advocacy Competitions. During law school, she made Dean’s List and received a Distinguished Advocate Award in Spring, 2006. Ingrid also volunteered for the San Diego Office of Education Everyone a Reader program and Street Law program, a program designed to implement the practice of law in local San Diego, California intercity high schools. She was a member of the Black Law Students Association, Lawyer’s Club of San Diego and the Pro Bono Honors Society. Ingrid was also the Race Director of the Student Bar Association, where she planned and organized the annual Res Judicata, a 5K race to raise funds for the Moores University of California San Diego Cancer Center.
In pursuit of her clinical legal education, Ingrid served as a Certified Legal Intern for the Alternate Public Defender’s Office in San Diego, California, and as a legal assistant at Neil Dymott Frank McFall & Trexler APLC, where she worked in civil defense litigation with a focus in medical malpractice defense.
