Contingency Fees

We are willing to reduce our fees in order to settle cases and we do this on a regular basis. We match other attorneys' retainer fees with a showing of their contingency fee agreement. Most of the low contingency fee advertisements are deceptive scams. They are a bait and switch, and are designed to get the client in the door by promising a low fee. However, in many cases the retainer agreement provides the low contingency fee and only applies for the first 90 to 120 days after sign up. Then the fee jumps up to a standard and/or an exorbitant fee if it is not settled during that time. It is our experience that most personal injury cases do not settle during the first three to four months.
